Corona Solar are specialists in solar battery installations for homes and commercial buildings. We install solar power systems of all sizes, from 1.5kw through to commercial size 200kw systems. We also provide grid connect systems.
A solar battery can be either added to a grid connect system, or installed in an off-grid system.
When installed as part of an on-grid system, instead of feeding power back into the mains electricity supply grid when you have a surplus, you store it on site in the solar battery. At night, or when you need additional power than what you are producing from the solar panels, you draw from the battery, and once that source is empty, then you revert back to drawing power from the grid.
When installed as part of an off-grid system, it will store the surplus power generated during the day. At night, or when you need additional power than what you are producing from the solar panels, you draw from the battery, and once that source is empty, then you revert back to your backup generator.
